Recommended for use in production tapping and drilling in work hardening grades of stainless steel and other hard metal applications. Precision ground tap threads for the ultimate in accuracy and performance. The most commonly used style of tap. Can be used by hand or for tapping under power. These versatile taps can be used in general machine tapping or CNC tapping applications. Use for through hole or blind hole tapping. Black surface treated threads for long life and rich appearance. These dies are used for threading rods, bolts, studs and other pieces requiring external threads. The outside hex configuration allows both wrench and die stock use in threading. Supplied in a sturdy plastic case. Type 24-AG taps and type 27-AG. Made in USA.
